At Astyled, above all else, we emphasize and prioritize the importance of healthy haircare practices. So when choosing a line of products to use in the salon, and to retail to you, it was integral that the products not only perform well but also nourish the hair.
We recently started retailing and expanding our in-salon use of products from Innersense Organic Beauty, here’s why:
Innersense Organic Beauty is free of many harmful ingredients (often found in lower quality products) such as known carcinogens, toxic preservatives, petroleum compounds and harsh surfactants. They instead contain clean ingredients that are naturally derived, certified organic and are ethically sourced and harvested. As stylists (and product users), reducing our exposure to harmful ingredient is paramount to us!
PRIORITY ON HAIR CARE
As Curl Specialists, our focus is first and foremost on taking care of your hair, as that is what is needed to give you the styles you desire. Innersense’s line of hair care products (shampoos and conditioners) caters to persons with all different hair types who may be experiencing different issues. For example, they recently released a Clarity line to cater to persons with allergies, aversions to fragrance and scalp issues e.g. Seborrheic Dermatitis.
CONCENTRATED PRODUCTS
Most hair products contain close to 75% water, having only a quarter of the product containing the concentrated ingredients. Innersense products contain only 45% water, meaning the products are very concentrated. You can therefore add more water (especially with the hairbaths and conditioners) to make better use of the product.
TRIED & TRUE
In the professional curly hair space, Innersense is one of those products that many stylists use and rave about. Does this mean we’re gonna use these products just cause it's popular to do so? Absolutely not. What this means is, that the results we get can be backed up by other professionals who are also servicing thousands of curlies collectively, proving the efficacy of the product.
ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS
You should see the amount of empty plastic containers we have to discard on a monthly basis! In addition to which, the heat this year is forcing us to pay attention to our environmental impact. And while we aren't Tree-huggers by any means, we absolutely do care about the environment and about adopting sustainable environmentally conscious practices so that us and future generations can enjoy it. So it makes us feel good to use products housed in bottles made from 100% post consumer recyclable materials!
